I bought a 4 pack of Bounty's at the Co-op for £1. My local BP garage charge 70p for one.

I have to say, the Presidents slightly salted butter at Waitrose is bloody lovely. I don't care about the cost.

Is there such a thing as a spreadable butter that's not a spread?

If so, what's it called?

Re: Lurpak 2 for £3
Butter dish. Real, pure block butter. Doesn't have to be fancy stuff. Cut a bit off the block every day or two to put in the butter dish to soften and leave the rest in the fridge. It's mostly fat so unless your kitchen gets really warm it won't 'go off'. Just be more vigilant in summer. I have no idea why anybody would put that disgusting 'spread' stuff in their mouth. Look at the ingredients list on real butter: milk and salt. If it's unsalted butter, it's just milk. Ever read the list on 'spread'? It isn't very inviting. Not much of it sounds like food.
